Apache is a very sweet
boy! If you are looking for a pet, this is the horse! He is
easy to catch and will follow you around. He loves attention and loves
people & kids! He is just the right size too standing at 14.2
hands, and he has a cute build. His ground manners are perfect
and a 3 year old could lead him around. He stands tied very
quietly and he is super easy to saddle and bridle. He is also
great with his feet, gives them very willingly. He has nice
strong barefoot hooves that do not need metal shoes. He is a
super easy keeper!
Apache rides down the trail
very quiet with a low head set. He is not spooky at all! He
will cross water and any obstacles without hesitation. We have
ridden him down the road and he isn't scared of traffic at all.
He would be great for the ATCHA competitions! He has also
competed in a few playdays although he is not a finished barrel/pole
horse. He is just so willing he will do anything asked of
him.
Apache doesn't have any bad
habits or vices. He has a nice smooth trot and you can take him
down to an even slower western job as well. He will lope easily
when asked, but will just walk all day if that is the pace you
want to keep him at. If you know how to ride at all, I think you
can get along with Apache. He listens well and wants to please
his rider. He is still young and can be taught a number of
different disciplines. He would make a great family horse as
well! There is not a mean bone in his body.
And lastly, did you see
him?? He is so flashy and drop dead gorgeous!!! Look at all that
color!! He is not APHA registered but due to his color, if you
wanted registration papers, he can be registered with the PtHA.
Come try him, you will fall in love! He is such a sweetheart!
