Duke is a super cute 5 year old sorrel gelding.  He is 15 hands tall and is put together nicely.  He knows all the basics and is super smart and willing to learn more.  He really breaks at the poll and has a good stop and back up. 

 

We have taken him on several trail rides and he is nice and quiet.  He doesn't care if he is in the front or in the back, and he will travel whatever speed his rider asks.  He is not spooky at all, and crosses all obstacles including water.  He will go down big steep hills as you can see in the video!  He is very sure footed on trails, and he has nice barefoot hooves that do not require shoes.

 

Duke loads well and is quiet in the trailer.  He will stand tied all day long too.  He stands for the farrier and for his baths.  He is really very easy to handle or do anything with.  He is easy to catch and is very friendly.  I really can't find anything negative to say about Duke!

 

He is young and highly trainable and could go on to do many different things.  He'd make someone a nice calf horse or heeling horse.  Would probably excel on barrels.  He'd also be great at penning or sorting.  He's already great for trail riding if you just want a hastle free ride on the trails or down the highway.  He is traffic safe!

 

So if you are looking for a horse with a great mind that has lots of shape and potential to take you places, then come try Duke!  He is super cute and has a wonderful temperament and disposition!  Would be a great addition to any family!
