Red is 15 years old, stands at 14.2 hands and is stocky.  He's a pretty cherry sorrel with a big white blaze.  Red is an awesome lil horse for someone wanting to relax and have fun on the trail! We took him with us camping for 3 days to Parrie Haynes and he did great. We did some very challenging stuff and put him through lots of tests and hard riding. I rode him up that very steep hill to the top where the big water tower is! For those of you that know Parrie Haynes Ranch, you know that is a very challenging ride to the top!  I felt like "The Man from Snowy River" on the way up and on the way down!  


I also got him to stand on a very large rock. Then we rode him in the Lampasas river!  That day my friend rode him and he took good care of her. He never balked at one thing we asked him to do and never spooked. He has a great neck rein, good brakes, and has a very nice jog and a smooth lope. If you need a trusty steed to carry you down the trail this is your guy!  He is not spooky at all.  He doesn't care if he is in the front or in the back of the group, and he will not kick if another horse gets too close.  100% sound on rocks and is barefoot!
