Roy is a 7 year old gelding that is just drop dead gorgeous!  He is a sorrel with long flaxen mane and tail.  He stands at 15.2 hands and has a nice stocky build.  He has a very smooth trot and lope, and a nice stop and back up as well.  He neck reins and also moves off leg pressure.  He will side-pass, pivot, and can do slow spins.  He is an excellent trail horse and will go whatever speed you want.  His current owner has entered him in the Competitive Trail Challenges and he does well.  He would also make a great Endurance horse because he has enough stamina to go all day.  He is not high-spirited though.

 

Roy is easy to catch in the pasture, and gets along great with the other mares and geldings.  He is not aggressive in the herd.  He is easy to load, bathe, saddle, bridle, and stands tied quietly.  He has tough barefeet that do not require metal shoes.  He is a nice horse to have around and is certainly pretty to see out in your pasture.  If you want a good looking cadillac, come give him a try!
