GORGEOUS!! Trigger is that dark golden palomino color everyone
wants! He also has super long, blonde mane and tail to
boot. He is 9 years old and stands at 15.1 hands. He has
perfect conformation and will win ANY halter class you enter him
in. He has actually been shown and did well. Shown in
halter & even Western Pleasure. Yes, he has that wonderful
slow jog and rocking horse lope everyone wished all their horses
had. However.....this boy can flat out FLY....and is a FINISHED
1/2D barrel horse! He is super automatic and easy to ride too. You can
ride him one handed the whole way with really long reins. Works best
off leg pressure. Needs no tuning on pattern during the week. Just ride
a few times to keep in shape, and go run on the weekend! You can come
in really running to that first barrel, no worries, he is going to turn
it! Will not run past one. He really hunts his barrels too. He is a
super FUN horse to ride. Is quiet enough for trails too!
Trigger has had the same owner since he was born. Their daughter barrel
raced him for 2 years but has since moved on to college and no longer
has time for him. He is too nice of a horse to just sit out in the
pasture. His owners brought him to me to sell, and I put a 16 year old
girl on him for his first real run at our NBHA here. She was 4th in the
1D, and he isn't even fully legged up yet! He is calm the alley way and
warm up pen. Will get anxious if you get right by the alley and it's
not his turn, because he WANTS to go in and do his job! He loves to run
barrels!
Trigger is a very low maitenance horse. He rides in a snaffle wonder
bit, no tie down. He does NOT require metal shoes and has tough
barefoot hooves. He has zero bad habits or vices. Never been sick a day
in his life and is 100% sound and healthy GUARANTEED! He doesn't have
one scratch or scar on him. Nice straight clean legs. Never had any
injections because he doesn't need them. He is UTD on all vaccines,
worming, coggins, and just had his teeth floated by an Equine Dentist.
He is ready for a new owner who wants to go WIN!! And boy won't you
look good doing it too!! It will be hard to find a prettier horse!
As far as Triggers bloodlines, he has a mix of cow and running blood,
which a lot of the barrel racers are going to these days. That
cow allows him to be quick and catty in his turns. On the bottom
he has Lightning Bar, he has a Speed Index of 95 and had a wonderful
career. Produced lots of winners. Lightning Bar goes back
to Three Bars, which was a super fast Thoroughbred, that his
offspring won over $3 Million on the track! He also has Leo,
which I LOVE, who won 20 out of the 22 races they entered him in. He is
a Hall of Fame horse.
Then on the top, he has Go Man Go! SI of 100! Another Hall
of Famer horse that won tons of money along with his offspring.
He was World Champion many times. He also has Lady Bugs Moon and her SI
was also 100! She won a ton of money on the track as well.
